The Velveteen Plum is an elevated-casual restaurant and cocktail bar in Wausau. We are best known for our hand-crafted cocktails, weekend brunch, unique and elevated menu items, and stunning rooftop views of Rib Mountain.

Our year-round dining spaces are perfect for date nights, celebrations, happy hour, aprés ski, and relaxed gatherings with friends. In the summer, enjoy more than 150 outfoor seats, fire-lit lounge areas, and our shaded rooftop bar overlooking the city.

Walk-ins are always welcome and reservations happily accepted!

HOW TO FIND US

We are located on top of the of the BANTR apartment complex.

1520 Elm St. Wausau WI

Additional Parking: When you turn onto Elm street, our additional parking is located across the street, directly behind Best City Nails.

Once you cross the street you will enter through the far west door to the left. As you walk straight ahead you will see the elevator.

We are on the 5th floor.
